Condominium Easement vs Ownership
A short guide to the difference between rights during construction and ownership after completion.
Condominium easement and condominium ownership are often confused. Both relate to an independent unit, but they differ by completion status.
Easement can exist before the building is finished; many sales proceed under this status during construction.
Ownership is established after completion and the relevant permissions. The unit then has a deed reflecting the finished building.
The key buyer question is: “What is my deed status today, and what status will apply after handover?” Ask for that timeline in writing.
On CNS Yapı projects we explain current deed status and the post-handover path in plain language — clarity is part of our boutique approach.
